For the advantage of passengers that must plan their trip to the last moment and cannot obtain reserved arrangement, the Indian railways furnish "Tatkal" to reserve the ease on the basis "first arrival, first served" with a payment of premium charges.
1.Tatkal books can be booked (E-tickets only) one days in advance. (closing the date of the trip out of)
2.The tickets of Tatkal only can be reserved station of source to the station of destination and removed station that has the share of Tatkal to the destination with the boarding of ease of the intermediary station. For some trains/it classify/the locations Tatkal the share cannot be available. Please to verify the availability before to reserve.
3.The name change is not allowed on the reservations done under this Tatkal reservations.
4.No concession is allowed in the restriction of réserver, of Tatkal applies to the concession of citizen Sr. also.
5.The ticket modification in any form is not allowed in the ticket of Tatkal.
6.The reservations of "Tatkal" can be until done five days in advance.
7.The reservations of "Tatkal" are allowed for First class AC and the Executive Class.
